These are static pages

Kyoto Night Tours is a set of static HTML files. There is no account system, no comment form, no newsletter and no server-side logging beyond what the web host keeps for its own operation. We set no first-party cookies and we run no analytics.

The map is not loaded until you ask for it

The map on the meeting-points page loads only when you press its button. Nothing is requested from Google and no cookie is set until you press the button. If you never press it, no third party is contacted on that page at all.

When you click a booking link

Booking links point to Viator or to GetYourGuide. When you follow one you leave this site and their privacy policy applies, not ours. Both set cookies to record that you arrived from here, which is how the commission is attributed. We receive aggregate booking reports from them; we never receive your name, your email address or your payment details.

Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools

This domain is verified with Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, which report anonymised, aggregated search data about the site: which queries showed a page and how often. Neither identifies individual visitors to us.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing here to access, correct or erase. If you have written to us by email, that message sits in an email account and you can ask us to delete it at any time by replying to it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
