The price you pay is the operator's own price and is not increased by the link you arrived through. Booking links on this site point to Viator and to GetYourGuide, which are the two platforms these operators sell through.

What we are not

We are not the tour operator, we are not a ticketing authority, and we are not affiliated with Yasaka Shrine, Fushimi Inari-taisha, the Gion district council or Kyoto City. Every tour on this site is run by an independent operator, and your contract when you book is with them.

Operators cannot pay for placement

No operator has paid to appear on this site, to be featured, or to be placed higher in a list than another. The ordering on every page is by review volume and rating, and the three featured evenings were chosen for spread of price, district and kind of night out.

The figures come from the operators

Prices, ratings, review counts, durations, group caps and cancellation terms are the operators' own, read from their booking listings on 2 September 2026. They change without notice. Where two figures on a single listing disagree, that is stated on the tour's own card rather than resolved in the direction that sells better.

Opening hours, admission and access rules for shrines, temples, the market and the transport network are taken from those bodies' own published information, and the sources are named on the pages that use them. Where no official source publishes a figure, this site does not print one.
